SOME RECENT CONTROLLABILITY RESULTS FOR THE THREE-DIMENSIONAL STOKES SYSTEM WITH TWO SCALAR CONTROLS

Resumen


In this paper, we deal with the three-dimensional Stokes and Navier- Stokes systems modeling incompressible viscous flows in a bounded domain Ω and equipped with Dirichlet boundary conditions. We prove that the Stokes system is null controllable by means of two scalar distributed controls supported in any subdomain of Ω. Then, we prove that the Navier-Stokes system is locally exactly controllable to smooth trajectories by means of two scalar distributed controls as long as the intersection of the control domain and the boundary ∂Ω is ‘large’.
