Getting to Valencia

transport to UV

From Manises Airport to Valencia:

The Valencia airport is located in the town of Manises, about 13 km away from the center of Valencia. There are connections between the terminal and the city center by metro and buses, as well as a taxi service.

  • By metro: Lines 3 and 5 of Metrovalencia operate here. Both lines share the same route up to Alameda station, which is reached after crossing the center of Valencia. Line 3 continues toward the northern area while line 5 heads toward the port. You can check the schedules on the Metrovalencia website.
  • By bus: Line L-150 runs between the airport and the center of Valencia, with its last stop at Avenida del Oeste, 34. It runs every 20 to 25 minutes, and the trip takes about 45–50 minutes to the final stop. There is a night line, called 150N, which follows the same route during nighttime hours but with a lower frequency, departing every 45 minutes. More information at the Met Go Valencia website.
  • By taxi: The center of Valencia is about 13 km away. The price of the trip depends on several factors, but it usually ranges between €25 and €35.

From Manises Airport to the conference venue:

The shortest way to get there is to take the metro (lines 3 or 5) to Àngel Guimerà station, and there transfer to line 1 (towards Bétera or Seminari) or line 2 (towards Llíria or Paterna), until Empalme station, and once there take the tram (line 4) to Vicent Andrés Estellés station. Any tram going in one of the following directions will work: Fira Valencia, Mas del Rosari, Lloma Llarga/Terramelar or Vicent Andrés Estellés.

On the dates when the conference will take place, the way to reach the Burjassot – Paterna Campus —where the conference is held— by public transport is by using the metro or tram, or a combination of both. The bus line that reaches the campus (line 63) is not operational during that period.
